I am a Ph.D. candidate of mechanical engineering at Columbia University where I am advised by Professor Hod Lipson.

My research focuses on additive manufacturing of multi-material parts through layer-by-layer deposition of 3D building blocks known as voxels. By using voxels in place of the raw material, Layered Assembly fundamentally differs from established digital manufacturing processes in how the raw material is shaped, manufactured, assembled, and ultimately thought about in design paradigms.

My research interests focus on robotic end effectors, electrostatic grippers, additive manufacturing, and pick-and-place automation.
